I hope you’ve all had a great start to 2023 so far! I wanted to post a quick update of our progress. Things have been busy here and I'm happy to report that deliveries are ramping up and dice boxes are coming out beautifully. We can't wait to get the rest out and hear what you think! Shipping is expected to continue through January, with the final units sent the second week of February. If you have any questions about your specific order, please reach out.
Workshop Updates
Enclosing and ventilating the printers has been one of our top priorities since moving into the workshop. This is important for the safety of our team, as well as to allow us to run the printers 24/7 and experiment with more advanced materials in the future. During the last week of January we set aside a few days to do the installation.
A bit about the engineering: Every second shelf has an inlet connected to an adjustable AC Infinity S6 fan. These connect to the main line via custom wye connectors we designed using Fusion 360 and printed on our Bambu X1C's. The fans are attached to the wall so their vibrations don't affect print quality. Future Plans
Since reaching our funding goal, our primary goal has been, of course, to get the Alchemy Vaults sent off to all our backers! We also have a long term goal to produce new products using the scrap material from our 3D printing process, to eliminate waste as much as possible. One option we've been looking into could be casting the excess plastic using silicone molds, using this method. Graham, a member of our team, has tried out the molds and cast a d20 in resin - check it out below!
